Evah lives like a vampire and is very afraid of the sun. Her artwork reflects nonsense, mystery, sometimes overcast. Evah was born in 1980 and is fond of the cold climate despite the fact that she grew up in sunny southern California. She studied Communications Design with an emphasis on Illustration at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. After graduating, she migrated westward to Northern California along with her cat Jalapeno. She used to work at a copy center while freelancing on the side, now she is a shipper by day, doodler by night. She hopes to dump her daytime job so she can focus on her paintings full-time. Unfortunately, the term "working poor" and "starving artist" fits quite well in describing her situation. Nevertheless, she continues to have fun drawing and hopes to meet an Inuit or publish a book in the near future.
