South East Open Studios is currently calling for artists to take
part in it’s open studios programme in June 2008. South East Open
Studios is a large artist-led organisation that brings in visitors from
all over the South East and not just locally. In addition to this, the
guide acts as an artists directory which attracts not only art buyers
but also galleries and publishers.
Annually, for two weeks in
June (6-22 June 2008), a growing number of artists who live and work in
Kent and East Sussex extend an open invitation to visitors to come in
and watch them work, ask questions and generally talk about the curious
and sometimes mysterious processes of making art. The website
www.seos-art.org supports the guide with all guide entries as well as
networking opportunities for artist members. It also lists any Autumn
open studios.
